Turn the item inside out and treat the underarms, collar, cuffs and any stained area with the Wash & Stain Bar. Wet the bar and work deep into the fabric. Soak tough stains in tepid water for up to 30 minutes or even a little bit longer.

Fill a wash basin or sink with cool water and add 2 capfuls or a squirt of the Wool & Cashmere Shampoo. Soak for up to 30 minutes. Run cool water through item until rinse water is no longer soapy. Do not wring. Instead press the item against the sink or basin to remove the water.

Lay flat in its natural shape. Place the item on top of a flat drying rack or towel. Do not put in the dryer! To expedite the drying process, place the item on top of a towel, making sure it’s flat and in its original shape. Then roll it up in the towel (like a sleeping bag) to remove excess water.
